Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 181 Sec. 181.105

To request access to client records, client can contact the counselor through email, call, or text. Express permission from the client or a subpoena is required to request records for anyone that is not the client.

If you need to file a complaint against the counselor or contact the disciplinary and licensing committee, this can be done through the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Counsel. Their contact information can be found at Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.
